The amazing HCMS Concert Choir is made up of over 35 Seventh and Eighth Grade ladies who meet daily in one 52-minute class period. They devote time each day to learning the art of making beautiful music by continuing to learn healthy vocal technique, sight-reading, and music theory.
The HCMS Concert Choir presents over six concerts and competes in two events during the school year. The first is our state-regulated UIL competition, which involves a concert performance and a sight-reading demonstration. The second competition is a singing festival out of town.
Our 2010-2011 Concert Choir proudly brought home the Sweepstakes trophy by receiving Superiors in their UIL Concert and Excellent ratings in their UIL Sight Reading! Congratulations ladies!
